The Company’s history goes back to 1986, when Ernest Balasingam started his first job in senior management with the Hyatt group. His time at Hyatt shaped him into valuing the importance of a corporate culture and the concept of putting people first. This was where he received his exposure into Human Resources and Training and Compliance. Throughout his career he has used this valuable training and exposure to forge culture change in organisations thru training and employee engagement.
Being admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor in 1997, he brings his vast experience in HR into Industrial Relations litigation. With the litigation experience, he now focuses on being strategic and solution oriented, pre-empting issues on employee engagement.
In 2018 he formed Back2Basics Consultants for the purposes of accreditation with the Human Resource Development Fund so as to enable his clients to use their contribution to bring positive organisational change.
